Very happy I took the leap

Before purchasing a pair of upcycled sunglasses, I bought cheap pharmacy sunglasses because I am typically tough on sunglasses and needed to replace them often. They got dropped, banged, scratched and broke regularly.
When I popped into Fillgood, I was picking up other household regulars when my eyes found the Upcycled Sunglasses. I learned they were a new product (this was over a year ago now) There was only 2 shapes and only 1 color options. I had been without sunglasses a while. I was excited to support this green innovation, until I saw the price which was 3x greater than the cheap pharmacy habit. I checked in intuitively, and the answer was yes, even though my first reflex was to turn away due to cost. Now over a year later, I’m so grateful I took the leap!
The frames themselves were wider than I was accustomed to. I wondered if that would hinder my peripheral vision when I would run errands on my bicycle. They did not.
The bright pink was out of my comfort zone. This became a boost as well, as I unexpectedly continue to receive compliments.
The first time I dropped them, I was delighted to see they are not as rigid or as heavy as previous sunglasses, no dent, no crack, no breaking. They are aging well, tough as I am on things.
I’m continually surprised by how well they are holding up. I recommend this product.
