Due to the high failure rate of the silicone gasket, we do not recommend canning with the EcoJarz storage lid.
We recommend washing your new Ecojarz Stainless Steel Storage Lids thoroughly with soap and water before use. Dry them thoroughly after washing and store in a dry place to avoid rust.
