Plastic Free Bathroom Workshop : April 18th, Ecology Center, Berkeley

Earth Day is on April 22nd and this year it will focus on tackling Plastic Pollution.

We're participating to this worldwide event by organizing a series of workshops to spread the word about plastic free living. We're very excited to start with this event in partnership with Plastic-Free SF Bay (Beth Terry : Book Group), a monthly meetup inspired by Beth Terry 's indispensable book "Plastic Free"!

From buying in bulk, to shopping items in your cupboard, guests will learn how to sleuth recycling codes, product labels, and make their very own Peppermint Coconut Toothpaste to take home (BYO small jar for your homemade toothpaste).

Date / Time: Wednesday April 18th, 6pm-8pm

Where: Ecology Center, 2530 San Pablo ave Berkeley

Fee: $3 for the DIY session materials (please pay at event).

Unpacked is a four year journey into collecting one person's recyclable waste. This series offers a fascinating and frightening visual of what the average person's 365kg per year might look like."'#365 Unpacked' reminds us that the best waste, is the waste that we as humans don't produce."
